Just tried firing my 3 simcard into my p900 and it came up quite happily and connected to the O2 gsm service that 3 use for roaming, was able to dial out etc as normal.
Mine is one of the original batch of 3-to-go sims so no idea if a more recent one will work.
Incidentally its fine if you just want to make calls but as for data there didnt seem to be any provision for gprs.

a friend of mine used his 3 simcard in his N-gage for a few days, then they blocked it. they update the sim cards to block out new phones when they are released, or something like that. all i know is it doesnt work now but it did

A '3' sim-card is just like any other except it is one of the very few that lets you access '3s' UMTS services.
The majority only allow a GSM connection.

I think "3" realised people were taking out contracts for the exceptioanlly cheap calls and flogging the handsets on ebay etc and using their conventioanl gsm phones.
Realising this they subsequently barred sims which were used in gsm (i.e non-3) phones.

As an employee for "3" i can tell you that Fraud & Security are clamping down on 3 USIMs being used in 2g phones, barring the usim and replacing it. YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED!!!
