Hmm,

quite dificult to describe, bit I'll give it a shot. The "Dash-Mount" has a tag, with a sticky pad that goes between the trim in the car. For example, between the flat bit of dashboard, and the trim round the stereo. The one I have looks like a squared letter "C". It attaches just above the stereo mount, and above the airvents. If you draw a rectangle, and erase the middle 90% of one long edge, you might get the idea.

I drilled the cradle into it, and then attached it to the dash.

Trust me!. It really is one of the best ways to mount a cradle.

Hmm I think I get you now.

So it's like a flap which slides in between a gap on the dashboard joints?

The flap then contains a plate to drill the holes to hold the cradle?

Possibly???

Take a pic to show me please, this would help me no end!

check out www.dashmount.com a full explination and fitting guide is here.

Then get on the blower to Custom EL, (www.custom-el.co.uk) and I can sort you out.

BTW They do retail at £20-£25 and you will still need a cradle for the phone

The ones CPW do are similar, but don't have to slots and holes pre-drilled.

Good luck!
