Erm... not really... how did you reach that conclusion?
Just what size benefits does a phone the size of the NEC 606/SE Z1010 have when it comes to using 3G features over a phone the size of, say, the Samsung E700?
It's an absolutely HUGE phone, plain and simple, and no matter how many SE zealots shout "but it's not THAT big!!!", it's still a brick.

Isnt the UK only like 30% covered by 3G though, so unless your in a City, u cant get signal, which is a bit crap, aint it!

But thats why 3G phone can also use 2G networks. If you want to make a simple voice call, the phone uses the 2G network. So it would be standard T-Mobile.
For 3G video calls and other 3G content you'd need to be in a covered area.
However, you're only talking about 3's coverage, we dont really know what 3G coverage T-Mobile currently has. It might be their entire network ?
