well i purchased it last may, do you think a credit card would still cover such a long period ago?

depends on ur bank. if you have purchace cover,its either 6or 12 months. may be entlltled to claim, better take police report down 2 ur local bank monday

Insurance can easily be put on your P900 in the states from an everyday insurance company. They will just ask you what it is you want insured and will give u a quote - simple as that!
As far as warranties covering theft, i have never heard of any manufacturer covering theft -
don't offer it as part of their warranty.
