@claudiomc
You can't have forgotten wich part of London you bought the phone?
When you remember that you might want to ask others here to get you the phone number to the T-Mobile shop in that part of London.
After that you give them a call and tell them what you told us.
I'm certain the guys in the shop will be able to dig out something from their data base that aill get you out of this situation.

Or are you going to try and sell a stolen P800 by showing a receipt that reportedly shows that you bought it

Guys, give him the benefit of the doubt.

I had my P800 stolen a while back.
I got a new one on the insurance and gave away all my old P800 stuff for free here on Esato. All of a sudden people said I'd "stolen" myown phone since I had two batteries to give away.
It's not nice to be called a liar when there is no proof.

Fair enough he might not be a liar

But what he is trying to do surely makes him a fraudster

then again.... every company I've EVER worked for has a dbase (either hard- or softcopies) for all their sales made. Over here they have to be saved 7 yeras, so I would estimate in the UK they will most likely not be thrown out within one year.

T Mobile stores can be located on T Mobiles website in fact, a simple phone call to the store oughta sort things out.

For an honest guy, things really need not be all that complicated
