There are still
some reputable stores from Greenhills. It just seems that most of the guys who have posted here have been burned before, hence the negative feedback. I have bought new phones from GH before (my pre-/// days.), twas fine except that there was no official support or warranty. Buying from any un-authorized dealers always entails the risk of getting a lemon phone and you don't get any warranty to back it up.
With regards to your problem, maybe you can ask for a copy of a receipt (including that of the unit exchanged) from the store where you got the phone. They should have records of it. (That is if they're reputable enough. Hah!
