Ok here goes.

To answer the question what was original asked. Yes orange are having problems regarding there GPRS and some phones are more prone to failing than others.

It has taken me 3 days and 6 different people for me to tell them that there is a probelm with GPRS. Once i reported it to them and explained that the probelm was after a outage they had over 2 weeks ago (Some 156 People dont know of the Outage) and the GPRS hasnt worked correctly since.

Funny enough after me getting anoyed and extremely angry, the following day It all worked and so far I have yet to have another problem.

One thing that realy does get on my nerves is them asking me about my settings. And one thing i keep telling them is that They have never been altered and why should the phone work in parts of the uk and not others ??

Normaly Ive always found that CS at Orange to be spot on, but in the last 6 months the quality and information i have recevied was rubbish. Infact i know more than they do most of the time, I can ask the same question to 3 differnet people and all 3 give a different answer. Im sorry to say but at present I think Orange have lost the plot and lost the Customer Service Bond they used to have. Is it cut backs or do we demand more ??

When you ask in the shops Im sorry to say they are very limited and I think are just there to sell you the phones.

thanks for your reply darren, interesting, because i dunno what i changed 2nite, if anything but it works now. I don't recall changing things, and yet sometimes GPRS will NOT WORK, full stop... Orange GPRS for me has been POOR... very poor...

I had long term gprs probs with orange in the past,very frustrating aswell,you will probly find that they are doing 3g maintenance in your area,thats why it works sometimes,and then does'nt.

yo i got orange the other day n i think its quite good part from the otherday it totaly screwed up. i cudnt check the balance or go on GPRS but i cud still use wap
