any1 for sony? just got mine in the mail last week
a long awaited upgrade from my trusty old sony nw-ms9
(yups... true blue sony fan)
cost me around 240pounds but it's packaged wif some shitty earphones... go grab yourself some decent headphones
the ms-90d is great since i love fiddling wif small gadgets
512mb built in wif a max capacity 128mb msduo slot (nopes... it doesn't support the pro duo). i know duos are obscenely priced but sandisk duos are relatively cheap... got my 128 for like 40pounds.
the built in battery lasted me a good 30hours or so but u have to dock it in in order to recharge
NOTE: it is NOT an mp3 player... you must convert music into it's own format before you can transfer it onto the player.
small price to pay for something so damn cool
plus... i managed to cram 350 songs into this baby (512+128) but since its using the old usb standard (usb1?) tansfer time is a pain!

yeah but for that kinda money ur im better off gettin the xclef cos i have a lotts songs...
plus with sony i reckon ur kinda paying a bit too much for the name, u could get the same kinda thing for much cheaper, but the again the sony is pretty cool!
INCLUDED IN THE BOX:
Xclef HD-800 20GB MP3 Jukebox
Earphones
USB Cable
Driver CD
AC Adapter
User Manual
Line-In Cable
LCD Remote control (optional accessory - due in 1 - 2 months) !!!!
Carry Case
whats with the LCD remote!!!!! we have to pay extra for it?

well... the main reason i got a sony is durability...
others haf suffered broken screens, hard drives, casings...
well... old chinese saying...
cheap thing no good, good thing no cheap
hmm... how bout the ipod mini?
http://www.firebox.com/?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=749
but 8hours battery life on all ipods is a shame
even my old sony lasted 10hours
(ok... nuff bout sony already i know!

)
4gig is acceptable tho i haven't seen any of them around yet
and aren;t they just gorgeous?
happy hunting

I know the I-River is a bit more pricey (got mine for £250.00) but it's superb. Got mine on Tuesday and been playing with it ever since. Just plug straight into the PC, no need to install software. Drag and drop files across. Fantastic sound quality. Inline remote control that controls ALL functions of the player.

Yeh I was gonna get the iRiver one.... how about this?
Philips HDD100 - 15MB, £165 on Amazon.co.uk
or the HDD120 - 20 MB, £250
Probably the best looking one I've seen, but no FM tuner.
