Im sorry 9600 baud my bad.

Anyway you need to start with the drivers for the cable and make sure its detected in device manager before worring about anything else. Go through what I posted and dont kill your computer yet.

Unplug and replug the cable and see if the new hardware window comes up if it dosnt then restart and then see if its detected then go through the process to tell it to look on the cd for the drivers.

And dont worry if you dont have the drivers you can get them online or I can share mine.

Mobile Phone Monitor Version R2A
Valid and necessary for all phones except the P800/P900

No program will work if you don't install this before. Moblile Phone Monitor will be always on alert of the connected (with cable, infrared or bluetooth) and the programs will "ask" Mobile Phone Moniter if there is any connected. NOTE: Sony Ericsson Communications Suite (see below) includes and installs Mobile Phone Monitor.

Float's Mobile Agent is not a SE program, and do NOT require Mobile Phone Monitor.

All SE software, and Christersson's sendfile/phonebackup/.. programs(Mr. Christersson was Ericsson personel when he developed those programs) do require Mobile Phone Monitor.

"unofficial" club SE is neither SE nor Mr. Christersson's official website.
