Can you use PVathur software to encode video to MP4? then can you play it full screen on P800?

You can play full screen videos using standard in built software for the P800 but it runs at a speed thats stupidly slow, if you want to play MP4 or 3gPP then use camcoder.
On a similar subject, I played around with smartmovie and got near perfect DVD quality video converted : 512kb/s with nice sound @ 24kbps, it came out around 15 MB for 4 minutes, which although high is beating mobiclip on quality. I played it in windows media player and it looked so much better than mobilclip BUT........ when i transferred it over to the P800, the phone couldn't handle the data and it was not watchable it was really jerky.
On the basis that smartmovie is not utilising the CPU of the phone as efficiently as mobiclip and although mobiclip has poor sound, I still use Mobiclip, the quality is not as good as the Smartmovie, but for some reason the mobiclip program can handle videos that run at 24fps, and they run smoothly, however I haven't seen a need to push past 17fps as you can't notice the difference. Mobiclip is now planning something as most of their site is down, if they sort out the poor sound, they will come out ontop of smartmovie, just for the speed of the video in my eyes. With smartmovie you can achieve really good quality fluid videos which end up being unsupported by the phone. Keep an eye on what mobiclip has to say on the 8th of this month.

read the help menu (the question and answer bit) and you'll know why it came out jerky. has anyone use divx? would you be kind to tell us your specs? cheers
