Which comment was very diplomatic? As far as I see I am saying that the Japanese are in advance of us Europeans and far in advance of Americans.
Perhaps you were referring to my comments regarding 'spikey hair'? Well that is in reference to almost every Japanese chap I have ever known having spikey hair and that whenever I have seen picture sof Japanese chaps they almost always seem to have spikey hair.
Perhaps it was the reference to eating 'raw fish'? I am merely stating a fact. As an aside I enjoy Japanese food immensely.
Could it have been my reference to the Japanese as 'gadget loving'? If so then again this is a fact. Popular Japanese culture is obsessed with gadgets.

Before I do recieve anymore posts in the style of points of view (e.g. When oh when will the BBC wake up and realiuse ...?) I should point out that I have immense respect and interest for and in Japan, but they still eat raw fish and love gadgets

@scoutboyuk got your point and think the same way, the only point is the marks u mentioned. Some1 could misunderstand it, thats all. However in my eyes the 1 and only original idea from the country of the rising sun is the walkman. The book of morita akio, the father of sony, Made in Japan is very interesting. Did u read it? Ah my Star Wars admiring friend, in the spirit of diplomatic relations I accept your point also.
Something I heard once makes a lot of sense in this situation, it goes something like this;

The British invent things, the Americans mass produce them and the Japanese make them smaller.

Look at what Sony's gona do with the PSP. Its UMD discs will have an unique number so that stuff download will only work on that disc. The question is, will Nokia allow SE software on its phones or will you have to buy an SE phone to use Sony media? This message was posted from a Nokia

it would only be for SE phones, almost surely. that's one way of leveraging the brand.

"They also believe that downloading illegal media can be stopped by software protection in new phones. "

I hope this doesn't mean crippled infrared
