There are orginal t610's with white middle!
Look here!

"The side pieces of these T610 and T630 were not made of the original aluminium-looking plastic, but of white plastic instead. I had seen one in Spain months before but I didn't imagine they had an official origin."

Things to remember when buying the genuine stuff:

1. Price
2. Quality/Finish
3. Source of procurement

I bought a red casing from eBay which was sent from Hong Kong. It came in a Sony Ericsson box and is fantastic quality, so I'm pretty sure it's the real thing! I'll post a link to this seller on eBay if anyone's interested. Cost me about £9.35 including postage to the UK and tools (T6 screwdriver & plastic lever to aid cover removal)

Oh, and I believe that the white plastic middle bit isn't actually a part - it's only there to keep the other parts together during shipping.

I've bought some of those cases as well from Hong Kong, with the white midldle bit. The price is suspiciously low - so I do wonder about the quality. Comparing them to a T610's original case, you can't tell the difference. I think that they're either very good copies, or perhaps cases that have been rejected for whatever minor reason (like a tiny paint blemish, not noticeable unless you get a magnifying glass out!) that someone's procured and is selling off very cheaply.

I do wonder if it's the latter, as these replacements attract fingermarks just as well as the originals!
