While working in Shanghai during Feb 04, I bought a P908.
After coming back to Lugano (Switzerland), I found out that I can't connect with the Lotus Notes of our company, while it's possible with a P900.
SonyEricsson tells me that it's impossible to "transform" my P908 into a P900.
Therefore I'm looking for someone interested to exchange his/her P900 English with my P908.
I don't have the box but I have the accessories and stamped guarantee.
I live in Lugano Switzerland and we can discuss a safe way for the exchange.

I think what ur friend has is the Chinese enabled "English" P900.

SE advertises this as an English P900, at least in Singapore, not sure about other places.

This model's handwriting system sucks compared to a pure English P900.

You can't do a 2-stroke gesture to write some of the letters and symbol. So far, there's no way to write the symbol ":" and "$" using gesture, have to depend on the virtual keyboard.

The handwriting recognition is slow and stupid compared to a pure English P900.

And SE Singapore refuse to flash it to a pure English P900 for me. Sigh....

A friend of mine saw my P900, loved it and rushed out to buy one. Problem is his phone has a lot of Chinese text, options, dictionary etc in the software, mine doesn't. He has two language options, being ' Simplified Chinese' and 'English' so he is able to use the phone, but handwriting recognition is a bit of a pain as he keeps having to change from Chinese to English. Also, some commands, like 'Storage' 'Internal' has the words 'Unfiled' in Chinese.
So, without going into too many boring details, is there a way of getting rid of ALL things Chinese on the phone and just having it all in English???
