I own one XBM-100 Xlive player. The battery life sucks when BT is on, but the sound quality is good. Firmware upgrade has been quite constant since I got it in Jan this year. 3 firmware upgrades thus far and solved most bugs except battery life.

I've heard HBM-30's battery life sucks too. Anyone can confirm on this?

Cheers

Yep, the battery life on the HBM 30 is a bit naff. Although with rechargeable 800ma AAA batteries you can get around 2-3 hours constant use and probably about an hour talk time.

1) I have a 20GB iPod, which means ~78X more memory than XBM-100. And if you are in the USA, you'll get one for ~30-40$ more than XBM-100
2) http://www.ipodlounge.com/ipodnews_comments.php?id=3444_0_7_30_C - A Bluetooth headset for iPod
3) The battery problem is corrected in the new firmwares. They have also corrected the language problem! (At last in Turkish!) Also, read the first and second comments at the webpage I posted above. (By the way, if you buy AppleCare plan for the iPod in the first year, you don't have to buy a new iPod when your battery dies, they get you a brand new one...)

@P900 lover,

YES to all your queries In fact, there's even a tab for P900 to be selected as your phone within the BT config menu of this BT player, though I am not sure how or what this does cos I bought it for my wife who is using the P800. One problem is that it only supports one phone only and not like some other BT headsets that supports 2, thus I am too lazy to repair it with my P900 and test it's functionality fully.

Here's the official webiste where you can download their latest firmware and user manual:

I'm also interested in this player, although I'm in the UK.
I'm finding it hard to find reviews of the xlive.

Could anyone that has one post your views/comments.
What's the battery life like? With the bluetooth on?
