Are you refering to the camera in the "bluespoon-collection"....? If so, I think that one's gonna be out way after the p800 - and also - as far as I'm conserned - you'll only get 256 colors, not 4096 as with the p800....

(Sorry Jan)

256 colors... do u know the pix of mca-20? thanks
i think spooncam + t68 is still smaller than P800. size does matter for me.

Yeah, of course..

I meant on the t68... It's important to me how the pics appear on the device I use for taking the photos, carry with me and use for showing others the pics.. At least until I get a laptop..

P.S. I actually have a MCA-20, so belive me - I know...

The Spooncam will shoot jpg-images, just like MCA-20.
And the resolution of the phone doesnt have anything to do with the cameras resolution, hehe.

The MCA-20 is the same as the one on P-800, same resolution.

What You're referring to, is the phones resolution,..and thats something else

And it will of course take a while before Spooncam is out,..will probably be used with the new version of T68,.. T-? hehe.
And that phone will have higher resolution
Or it could be used with any other bluetooth phone around.

@Jan:

Yes, I know - I guess I'm a bit misunderstood here.. I'm actualy in the business myself, so I have no problems understanding the spesifications..

What I ment - maybe written in s dodgy way (sorry) - is that I'd rather have a p800 with high-resolution screen and internal camera than a t68 with a SpoonCam - and that's just because you only have 256c ON THE PHONE, compared with the p800's 4096c. I know the phone's resolution have nothing to do with the camera, but as mentioned - to me it's important how the pics appear on the device i carry around and actually use to take the snaps. I have no doubt the SpoonCam will be way cooler and at least as good as the p800's internal camera, but it would be rather silly to buy a SpoonCam in addiction to the internal one..

But as you say - I'd prefer an upgraded T? with higher resolution and a SpoonCam..

So no offence - The last thing I want is to upset you (the guru ). That's why I put in a "sorry" too, course the product I understand you work with seems so cool, but since the T68 only have 256 colours, the SpoonCam wont be out for a while and the p800 has an internal camera - I will probably never get to experience your wonder.

P.S. If I had a laptop, things would have been different. Right now the most important thing is how the pics appear on the phone, allthough this have nothing to do with the cameras actual resolution or what so ever...

Regards....

I know that You know, hehe,...this is getting a bit complicated
(my explanation was basically meant for the other users)

Yes I would love too to have a phone-screen that was as good as the camera itself,..that would truly be very nice.

Luckily the phones seem to be getting more and more colors,..256 > 4096..> 65000+,..and now the Samsung with 260.000 colors.
So we're getting there.

I have the MCA-20 too,..and its a nice little gadget. Would of course work even better on a phone with higher resolution,...thats what I'm kinda looking forward to
T-68 in an improved version will come,..not really much doubt about that.

Another one with digicam,..is the panasonic GD with 65.000 colors,..I bet that looks ok

Will be able to test the Nokia 7650 soon,..so I'll get a pretty good look at just how good it will be with 4096 colors and digicam

@Jan

Great!

Looking forward to it..

The future's amazing, and unfortunately pretty expensive.. But somehow I think I'll stick to , even though I experience that they don't actually know how to treat great customers.

Guess I have to reconsider the p800 if there will be other T's, but that's mainly due to the size. But considering the 7650 - it would perhaps have been one kind of a phone, if I had not read articles were the 7650 and p800 are compared. It just makes the 7650 seem so lousy.

Well, well - Jan - I wont waste your time on this topic no more. Thanks for the info!

Regards...

Going back to the topic, i have heard that the lens has some kind of transparent plastic behind it to protect it. This may be true. This post was posted from a T68
