if sounds like your on WAP only gprs service. if this is the case you need to enter the proxy details in opera (edit\preferences). you can get the proxy details from the connection details in the control panel.
@Sammy_boy
if your using PAYG with the web settings it will not work because full internet gprs is not available on o2 PAYG
