i had exactly the same problem with you. tried everything but no luck, i have sold the phone and then got another one. i found that the problem occurred after i removed the flip and put it on back. i think there was a connection problem when i tried to put the flip back on.

prob sorted. got my phone back from hays(?) on saturday - so it was gone for just over a week. they just put a brand new flip on it. it does look a little strange cos the rest of the phone is pretty tatty.

one problem tho, i also asked for a fw update as i've been experiencing some bugs - but they seem to have ignored this request.

has any1 had any problems upgrading at CPW? cos i hear that doing so invalidates your warranty?

Same thing has happened to my P900. The buttons 3, C, return and * don't work unless you press them incredibly hard (enough to make screen warp inward!)

I can pinpoint the problem starting to when I had to write an urgent text whilst it was raining.

Will that invalidate the warranty (liquid damage?) How would the repair centre know anyhow.

How do people reckon I should go about getting it repaired. I bought it from One Stop Phone Shop, and have their insurance cover for it.

Cheers

Ali
