i tested it to.. it's not bad but useless for slightly moving objects..

kinda neat though and quality is a bit better but gives a yellowish tone to the pics and takes long to process.

first you have to wait for it to take 8 shots then 2 minutes to process.

8 shots? to hell with that... might as well use my actual digicam. way less effort and time. Then again, the built in cams were never intended for high quality pic's, just a quick one you can send my mms and so on.
(except the new 1.3mp versions)

You can set it up to take less than 8 shots
any number
and i think it would be good for low light situations!

Give the chaps some credit, it isn't that bad an app and I actually can see a difference in the quality of the pictures posted here. It might not be perfect, but with a bit of luck, a pair of nylon stockings, a hair clip, a round of sandwiches and lashings and lashings of ginger beer, we'll manage to muddle through somehow.

Expecting pictures to resemble 1.2 Mp is not very realistic.

TBH I use PhotoPro for editing after the picture was taken. It lets you adjust yellow/blue levels which (for me) are the most common tints on pictures. On top of that you can crop, add text, blur/sharpen, and add effects (like greyscale, sepia etc)
