Ok, ok! I didn't read it carefully. I never used the bottom up vertical bar before trying to write the 'ç'.
Anyway, more than a year after i bought my P800 i can finnaly write 'ç's.

That is also told in the phones help section, in the manual and on the e-manual on the CD but to save ur lazy ass the bother:
vertical line from bottom --> top,
horizonta line from left --> right followed by a dot (like an "i" on its side)

You do the upwards line, as descibed above. Then a short right to left dash and a dot.

It seems it works both ways; left -> right then dot, or right -> left then do.

Simply because no one else had answered it.
I've been looking for weeks to find a way to write the underscore (it's part of my email address) calling up the virtual keyboard just for one letter is annoying.
I noticed that the subject of the topic I first replied in might not be obviously linked to writing underscores, so I replied to another user who had asked the same question.
Sorry if my double response has puzzled you. Not my intention at all.
