If SMAN is insatlled, removing memory sticks will cause SMAN to behave improperly and according to sman manual its like removing the steering while driving a car. This is because some elements of SMAN is installed on the memory stick

i thought the sman manual says not to install onto the D drive? not that some elements are stored on it.
you can swap disks anytime you want. i've never tried while writing to the disk tho - that may cause some probs.
i've taken a disk out half way through a movie tho - the movie just stopped and i got an error message - no damage

@mobman
The following is taken from Ajack's
website
"You must have a memory stick installed into your smartphone for the installer to work. Without a memory stick, installation will fail even if you specify that SMan is to be installed in drive C:. This is because the installer will load the startup module of SMan in the memory stick so that if an application that a specified to load at startup causes your smartphone to hang, you simply restart your smartphone without the memory stick."

I want to know that this ms duo with adapter can also work in sony handycam to take pictures and then again put in P900 to see or send this pictures. I am asking this because i heared that ms duo has its file system in p900 and if put in another device should have the same file system to see or acces the files or photos.
