I think its useless in singapore. I told them off but they just simply tell you that they have approval letter from SE to charge the customer for the upgrade.
But I was just thinking maybe we can try the one over at the Accord cos its a different organisation.

Today i went for the upgrade, and i tell them the upgrade should be free, but they said they still gonna charge me. Then i phone to Sony ericsson and they told me if they charge me then i have to pay, if they do it for free then it's for free, doh.
BTW took me $25 CAD

Just to mention guys... that if you are coming to UK to get the upgrade done, be sure that you bring with you your receipt of purchase. They will not do it without any proof that you actually have paid for it (so they know its not stolen).
Ive yet to get mine done, will poss over the weekend if I get the chance to.
