i havent tried with any gifs other than thos that came with the phone. have a look at the file sizes and settings of thos. i think there on the software cd that came with the phone if you've deleted them.

nope it's not the screensaver, it's definitely the flip closed wallpaper. set in the "display" "background" menu
This is my current flip closed wallpaper
well its animated on my P900 at least

Just found the answer to my prob. It won't work with Tracker 4 installed. I uninstalled Tracker to try it and it works like a dream.
