My Cam is also like yours, Bamsefar. I hate it because of the reduced sharpness in the left and right. Looks so ugly. Bought a 6600 for good photos. Thought SE had reduced this problem since the P800. But seems to be the same, only better colors.

All the photos above look like stock standard, P900 camera quality to me.

Every camera phone I've tried has that blurry edged "tunnel vision" effect (including Nokia), and every P900 taken picture I've seen has the interlacing. I haven't yet had the pleasure of using 1MP camera phone yet.

That Photoshop de-interlace technique is pretty neat though, thanks for that tip

I'm thinking of returning my P900 and getting another one because of the image quality.

John99: I will return my P900 as soon as I can - the way it works is just not acceptable. For comparisson: My previous P800 had a much better camera than my current P900...

i've never really noyiced that on my pics from my P900.maybe its just you got a build up of dust on the lens.
