no I don't recall such a thread and a quick 10 second search didn't find anything obvious.

However, as I use both pocket IE on my iPAQ and Opera on my P900 I can say I prefer pocket IE. I can't say why right now but I do know that when I want to do stuff other than esato light I always turn to the iPAQ and connect through my T630. I'm sure the larger screen on the iPAQ has something to do with it and probably that I prefer the windows mobile interface in general. The P900 is just a tad more convenient.

One day I will think more about this and give some better reasons

I have an ipaq 1930 (no Bluetooth) and a O2 XDAII. I'd go for the XDAII everytime. Its as powerful as the top of the range ipaq's, it has a phone built in so you dont need to connect to the net via another phone, and it also has a great VGA camera built in.

If you want a simple PDA, go for something like a Palm Tungsten T1, they are about £150 and great little gadgets. Windows based PDA's are normally more expensive. The best there is for little money is probably the HP 1940, which is about £190 now, with Bluetooth.

Ive always preferred PIE over Opera as it displays webpages much better, it can use plugins for flash and java based websites and more. Opera was good on my old P900, but it displayed pages more like they were WAP, and not full HTML.
