Hay thats cool if that rumor is true, because my theory always was that Ericsson not Sony design the P800, before the two companies joined. And Ericsson ordered the camera parts from a different company and had heaps in stock, because the cam is crap and I dont believe sony would create such a bad camera. So they used what was in stock. And the new PXXXX or what ever would have a true Sony Camera inside and that would be the best camera phone on the market.
Because to be honest they used the same camera in both phones because they are the same. So the next version will be the best because I think sony will have a more of an input this time.
P800 - doesnt look sony,
P900 - schell designed by sony with same inside of Ericsson
P1000 - will be input from both and will be a huge hit
Well I could be very wrong, but thats what I thought!

I think demand is quite high- i didnt have to wait for my p900 which i got last week, the supplier had 16 in stock at 4pm and expected to sell them all by 5!!
I checked the next day and they were sold out.

i got my gsm stock p900 in jan and it cost me 520quid 3 weeks ago i finally got my orange p900 on contract after 5month,and iam in the phone trade,both mine have been fine,my other p900 i dropped it on a stone floor from 7ft and it bounced,then i drove over it in s class merc and all it did was it cracked the edge of the screen so the p900 is and always will be a brill phone.

Try O2 I only had to wait a week or two for my P900 - and that was basically cos the ididots delivered it to the wrong store who then would not hand it over - got it for free on O2 400
