have u noticed how big the k700 discussion became?
so how long it will take to search for an answer
simple small one like that?

I think the search is fast, at least fast enought. For the time being that is...

I just noticed that I have a K700i (at least that's what the box says) and the phone has the chinese characters above the numbers.

It doesn't have to do with characters, it's all about the network freq...
So it's not imposimble to have a K700i with chinese characters

@ephil_24: No, I'm sorry, but the difference between the SE K700c and the SE K700i has nothing to do with frequencies or networks. Both models supports GSM 900, 1800 and 1900. At least according to information found on the official SE web site.

In Malaysia SE released K700i, the advertisement says it have only 32MB but the phone itself indeed have 41MB. I have check my set and it does have 41MB excludes application. As for the chinese characters on the keypad, Nope there isnt any but it does supports chinese text in reading and writing.

@meeezz: The phone model that supports chinese text is the SE K700c, not the SE K700i, right?
