Mine was worst, last month I dropped my P900 but in a bucket of water. It crashed and I immediate buy tools to open the phone and removed all the waters inside. The next day, I brought it to A Sony Service Center for them to have a look cause I dont like the way it the screen looks (as if a lot of water was hidden on the screen).

Although I lost the warranty because of opening the phone, after a week I only paid USD2 (the initial estimate was to have the LCD replaced which cost around USD 121 here in the Philippines) because they did not find anything wrong with the phone (they probably just dried the LCD).

Bang @ artemiy

Anyhow, I have the SE car cardle thing for P900, and all I can say is dont open the car door before pushing the leaver down hard on your cradle to release your p900, especially when theres lots of people around to watch you stott your phone off the tarmac. Bummer.

Subsiquently its got lots of chips on it and I want a replacement, but its cosmetic. It could be said it crashes a lot I suppose. I have Orange insurance, what does everyone recon I should do?

@ ph03n!x, ask Laffen to configure the settings for your phone, and when you use the (WAP/ WML) gateway you will get the message at the bottom of your screen displaying the particular handset which you are using, unless i am very mistaken. This message was posted from a P900

Well in the end I found that my P900 had started to crash and freeze 2 or three times a day and the keypad was also sticky, so I rtang Orange and it has been replaced with a new one....

i dropped my P9 whilst trying to change tracks on my mp3 player.
-it fell out of my hand
-slid down my leg
-and into my trouser pocket (the one just above the knee)

at first i was like "where the hell did it go???" i spent a good 5 mins looking around untill i realised where it was

this was outside on a concrete floor.

Luckiest day of my life
