I have the newest firmware:R5B
My problem: when I wanted to go to "Preferences" Opera 6.31 crashed. It turned out that Opera 6.30 left the above files behind.
Are you sure it's not network related?

nope cos i always use vodafone gprs the internal browser dls fine... opera just wont dl the last few KB of the files!! and it used to work fine..

omg... ok i did a total format, master reset and deleted ALL un needed files on fone and mem card opera allows me to properly dl zip and other compressed files WOOT!!
but 3gp and mp4 files r still downloaded corrupt.. argghhh!! i think it has something to do with the video player being opened to early or some thing has any1 else had this problem??

Just have it flashed again. Even if you have already the latest firmware. This should get rid of all the leftover stuff and currupted files.

Even if you have already the latest version, you would still be able to perform an update.
