So SAD for Voda users if that indeed is true. Voda must mess everything up? Look at the F500 compared to the K500!! Jeez!

it is true - and yes it is sooo sad - and worst of all - it seems no customers buying the K700 was informed of this before purchace - alot of people was cheated and schocked. If that happened to me I would have immediately returned the phone demanding my money back and switched network.

Yeah, just read that thread - I wonder if it was a decision they consciously made or whether someone screwed up?

Actually - just checked. Page 58 of the Voda menu has the following note:

"If you want to use an MP3 file as a ringtone, you can only use some copyright-protected files specially designed as ringtones. Please consult your network operator for more information. If you select and MP3 file as ringtone you cannot use voice answering."

So I guess it was a decision they made! I'll be bashing off an email to complain... hopefully if enough people moan they will change their mind. Or maybe someone will come up with a hack to add a license header to MP3 files so they work?

well lets not get too far off topic please and make this another k700 problems thread.

this thread is for discussion of problem-free K700s, we already have the K700 problems for discussing K700 problems

Did you encounter any of the many problems others have reported yet? Or is it problem free so far? This message was posted from a T310

There aren't really problems with the unbranded SIM Free handset -- only custom branded phones. The battery life may be a little short right now, but nobodys really had the phone long enough to have given the battery a proper run in to justify it's correct life. I'm expecting a bit under the life of a T630.
