just a question: can we zoom the pictures taken with the camera after storing them into the file manager i.e. when we are viewing the pics afterwards.

Mathematically there is correlation between the various resolutions. It looks like zooming is the same as scaling up a picture to next available resolution where 640x480 is max and hence:
x2 zoom of 160x120 yields 320x240
x4 zoom of 160x120 yields 640x480
x2 zoom of 320x240 yields 640x480
For 640x480 there is no zoom. However, the extended mode looks like a x2 zoom of 640x480, which yields 1280x960.
