if u were able to copy the contacts back from pc to p800 no no problem.
Also the email solution (export contacts as vcard) is also good

Yea the email option is the best. Note that if you copy to and from a SIM, a lot of information can be lost, such as notes, email addresses and the like.

I still think syncronising with the PC is quicker and simpler. That long procedure, although it seems to work looks a lot more complicated. As long as it did the job

Hello
I tried emailing my contacts to my own email and since I have a few folders, I decided to send one folder at a time using the "send this folder" option, but when I opened my email, only the first name in the folder appeared. How do I send the whole folder or better still the whole address book to my email. It would be lousy if I have to send one name at a time. Pls help. Thanks

sync contacts with outlook and then restore the contacts from pc to mobile will not restore full information like i have a contact , and i have 3 nos. in that contact and i added 2 more by add field that 2 nos will not the sync with outlook and when u will restore data using sync that 2 nos will be missing .... !!
so the best mothod is backup file contacts.cdb and then restore it !!!

Install the PC suite of the P800/P900 on your PC then do a sync with contacts selected. The PC Suite will copy your contact to the contacts tab of Microsoft Outlook.

I have a question. This is how I do it for my T616 and I've been wondering (ever since I started reading this thread) if you can do it with a P800/P900. I go to my phonebook option and then send all my contacts to my computer, via bluetooth or infrared. This saves them all as a vCard. Will this not work with the P800/P900? I'm wondering because it seems like they deal with contacts differently due to it being a smartphone.

My problem is, although I can send a whole folder using the "send this folder" option to my email, but when I open the attachment in my email, I only get the first name in that folder and the rest are missing. How do I send a whole folder or better still my whole phonebook to my email. Pls help. Thanks
