alot of people who own p900's have noticed that when a newly charged battery is inserted and switched on it shows up low or no charge if you leave the phone for a minute or two the charge is slowly accepted back into the phone bit by bit this is because the p900 loads the electric flow in slowly to prevent any malfuctions or shorting out...(clever hey)
although sometimes it is required to restart the phone to allow the charge to go back in - its something to do with the way it was previously run out or switched off....... its not a serious problem.
chill out.....

@Res. I charged the origonal battery with the dual charger which is not

and when I put it in it showed 1% and then showed 99% after I switched it off and then back on. This battery is fine now but the new battery is the one with the problem.
I think @Happen's info about the power output of the batteries may be correct.

@Happen. Yeah I charged the battery up twice today since posting this thread. Both times with the mains charger pluged straight into the phone. Its now on charge again.
Does anyone know where I can get a proper battery ? I've looked on Ebay and from the pics of P900 batteries I've seen they all have 1000mAh showing on the sticker or are Li-Ion type. I thought the P900 batteries were Li-Polymer type.

the 1260 battery is shipped only with a P900. If you buy spare (even from SE), you will get the 1000 mAh battery. I dont know why SE is doing this... but thats the way it stands currently

On my last visit at SESC GREECE they had a 1260mAh battery as an accessory but never asked the price since I have already my old P800's battery for a spare one.
However they dont sell a spare battery in any shop, even in GERMANOS which is a specialist in batteries. They have some batteries 1260mAh for selling but not an original one.
Same story with Vodafone's stores as well.

argh. even more problems happening now.
1-infra red wont activate
2-if i try to activate bluetooth the phone freezes up (cant even switch it on or off)
3-all contacts have disappeared
4-all pics/music etc have disappeared
5-everything on the memorystick has been erased
6-phone wont connect to syncstation
7-touchscreen is slow
8-all calender entries have disappeared
all were fine about 2 days ago. then i noticed that all the games had gone off the phone and now hardly anything is working.
have also tried a master reset but its still happening.
am getting realy annoyed now
have contacted CPW again and they say I just got to put up with it as there is a 4 month waiting list for P900's
going to take it to my nearest

mobile phone repair centre tomorrow and see what they can do. am now getting to the point where i'm thinking that it was a bad idea in buying a P900 and should have stuck with my T630. if the mprc cant do anything then i go and get something else. maybe a K700.
i dunno.
any help would be great.
