Sx1 is better. You cant compare Sx1 to K700i because Sx1 is a smartphone

Go get SX1 if the price is the same. make sure you upgrade the f/w to the latest version (ver 12). Don't be afraid with the keyboard layout, it's easy to learn it

I have FW 12 and i am having so mutch truble with it!
Now i cant enter the menu, and the clock keeps changing the time all the time!!!
You wish you knew how meny times siemens have tryed to fix it!:S
The specs looks sooo great, but as i sead the phone is not!

What ever the case do not buy SE K700i. because
you cannot access call list during a call, you cant search contacts with more than 1 alphabet. there is no SMS chat, My Friends function is not available in most of the models though the manual would say that all models have this function and on top of everything battery sux.
Also keys are sticky!!!

Im pretty sure that when u pick a sx1 just b'coz it had a mmc slot that k7 did not have it. I think its need more 'talent' to write a sms with one hand on sx1.

I don't have these problems and I don't know people who have these problems. Try to format the phone and your problems might disappear. Btw that the clock keeps changing is a setting you have turned on called something like "auto adjust time". Your netwerk operator changes the time for you then.
I have absolutely no problems with mine, it never reboots, no hangs, etc.

there is the carphone warehouse in belfast on arthur street that does firmware upgrades. I am from coleraine and thats the only place in Northern Ireland unless you want to send your phone away.
Its not really much of a bother cause you dont need to unpdate firmware often and when you do need to do it it can be a nice day out in the city.
