i think that the K500 is going to be a very good seller
finally they managed to make a really cool mid-end phone feature wise and most important - design wise
the t300 and t310 were two bad steps towards the youth market

not eveybody thinks the same about design. i find most latest SE phones (K700,F500,S700,K500) all ugly, not very ugly just ugly. i know i buy my phones for the features but design is always nice to get 2.
i'm hoping on a big sale for the Z500 the design is nice but the lagoon color come on. we want a darklike red, and a special blue, and 2other colors in the package. sadly the phone will only beavaileble end Q4. but i'm sure it will sell.
K700 will sell alot ofcourse, the tv ad will boost it. which is great
but don't forget many people have already changed there old phone for a T610. and i think we could be going for a 2nd 2000 disaster.

i'm not talking about my favourites - i'm trying to see it with the eye of the mainstream
concerning new designs,
i don't like the keyboard design of the K700, the quality of the batterie cover is also not good
F500, don't talk about it, i don't see it as se i see it as vodafone phone
K500, don't like the back, it remembers me on siemens, but the curves are great, and the blue colour too
S700, i like the back, front i boring
P9*0, the back of the phone doesn't really fit to the it, it has a star trek look

lol star trek. but remember star trek goes where no man has ever gone before. and the P910 can help you get there
i know the design counts for the mainstream and i hope they like it. but still i miss the old ericsson designs.

@bart thx for your last sentence. Next to design the logical decisions are missing aswell. Whos idea was to release k7 with a 650mah battery? A fone with radio, mp etc, knowing these drains the battery faster. And then this. I have to charge t630 every single day. Or is se going to launch the psc100 - portable sun collector? By my usage the batt wouldnt lasts a half day...

Why oh why didn't se continue with the T39m design where the battery is the back of the phone. Then it is so simple to put a more powerful battery. Which is what I did, replacing the original 600 mAH by a 1400 one. Giving me almost 2 weeks of normal usage before recharging.

Most K700 owners seem to have a 700 mAh battery.

@arne might be i was wrong with it, even 1000mah would be the minimal criteria imho. @michka wise words. There was a time when ppl used their brains for usefull things instead of only how to make profit...

You are so right boba.
Take the z600 keypad: the keys are well separated and each of them is placed at the bottom of a little recess. It is almost impossible to press two keys together. This is one of a hell of a keypad. Unfortunately, design is more important than ease of use, and none of the new phones use the same layout. Fortunately se still does not come up with assymetric keypads, like other brands do. What a nightmare for a left-handed.
