The wise amongst us would invest in a usb (2.0 preferably) card reader/writer if the aim is merely to transfer files... much less hassle in the long run, and just sooooo much quicker, with the added bonus of improving the transfer of files from digicams and mp3 players... all for less than 10 quid...
