Hello, all.

I have changed my T610 for a K700 i and I have just checked the battery and this is what is printed: Standard Battery BST-35, 700 mAh, made in Japan, Finished in China.

Hope that it can help you out....

There should be no real difference. If anything the Li-poly battery is better than the Li-ion battery. Hence the lower power rating. Here in australia, the k700 comes with the Li-ion. This message was posted from a WAP device

li-poly shud give better battery performance than li-ion. Also i think i read somewhere that wiv li-ion the initial charge should be 16hrs at least and the next 2 charges should be full to give u best battery life. Also let the battery drain till u charge again. With li-poly u dont need to do this and apparently u dont have 2 let it drain, in fact its better for the battery to still have some power when you re-charge it.

I recently got the K700i, with VodaFone live, the battery that i got is "Standard Battery BST-35, 700mAH". I really think the battery performance is not good. If i log onto http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]1_1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10139 , it says the batter performance is about 8 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time (using BST-30 battery). Well i am not even getting 3 days of standby time.
