I've got the orange branded phone...
It's annoying that they've removed the more menu, but you get used to the "extra clicks" required for messaging / bluetooth / infrared / phonebook / notes (which you can't display on the desktop due to the little icons), etc... [wow, orange suck!]
However, the rest of the phone is super - loud MP3 tones, radio, camera and video, 3D tennis! etc...
I've had a couple of minor issues - not problems - and the only time I had to reset was when I sent something via bluetooth too quickly (phone hadn't stopped searching) and so it kept saying "connecting" but the bluetooth had switched off. Just switched it off and on again!
These little bugs should be ironed out with firmware releases, but I'm sure you'll find the phone really nice to use - I do
Plus browsing Esato HTML Lite is awesome on the k700

I have no problems what so ever with my now 4 weeks old K700 - just works like a dream. Havent had a single crash - works perfect with all my BT equipment - no stuck keys - no problem with contacts - etc etc etc.
K700 does no have more bugs than any other new advanced phones just released. You just read more about it - partly because many many users have bought it and have high expectations - partly because you were interested in it yourself and therefor did read up on it.
I could easily link you to bug threads in Siemens forums about the M65/CX65 series - or bugthreads about the n6230 in nokia forums - beleive me they have the same amount of "bugs"
Also you have to take into account what is a bug - and what is not a bug - alot of socalled bugs are not really bugs, but simply users with wrong expectations.
But if you feel more safe getting an advanced phonemodel from another company - you are free to do so

And these are of course problems/bugs of the k700 ??
Bluetooth not compatible with 6600 ? seems more likely that it should read 6600 bluetooth not compatible with K700, as nokia bluetooth are wellknown for being less compatible than the S//E bluetooth. My k700 BT works perfectly with my Logitech BT headset, my BT / usb dongle, my T610 BT, my Ipaq 2210 BT, and my IBM laptop BT.
Camera not as good as 6600 ? is than an error/problem ? I would say thats more an opinion rather than an error/bug
Crashing on video downloads ? - so everytime something from the web doesnt work propably its your computer thats at fault ? could be poor coding of the content/site your downloading from. My k700 hasnt crashed a single time.
No offence - but this is exactly some of the strange bugreports that give a totally wrong picture.
Now it is of cource possible that you experience some problems - Im not trying to say you dont - but I really dont see anything in your post documenting that it actually is the K700 that are the cause of these problems. Any of your problems could be related to something else and not nescessarily the K700. Some of it (like the quality of the camera) cant even be considered a problem - but only an opinion.

LOL, well i got used to this defamation going on this the forums. Happens every time i am buying a new phone, new pocket pc or anything really. Bottom end, many peole complain for stupid things.
Had my k700 for a month now and would not change it for the world. absolutely no problems here. I am a happy camper.
-With PCs the problem is always between the chair and the keyboard.
-With Mobiles the problem is always the hand and the ear.

This is kind of a stupid answer. Because you have no problem, then nobody has.
Why can't you understand that apparently the quality check of the K700 at the factory is not up to par and that too many samples get to the shop with various bugs.
I wonder what you would say if you bought a car with the same kind of problems several people have with their phone, and would crash at the first turn.
My feeling: this phone has been released too early, before many manufacturing problems were solved. And that's a shame from SE.

What I just said applies equally well to other brands. And the other brands having the same problems is not an excuse.

Good firmware can do wonders for a phone. Think of the t68. The latest version transformed an unuseable phone into a brilliant one.

I don't concider SW buggs as manufacturing problem. Its rather some design flaws, which will/may be fixed through SW upgrade. Nothing wrong with that although maybe irritating. If they were aming for perfection, they would never be able to release anything.
