In fact Hetz, my phone is different to yours.....i have got 2 T-mobile icons on the main screen, the top left one on yours is the original SE one....strange!

Did you order your phone from T-mob direct? When did you receive it? I wonder if your having the same issue with the colour behind the right softkey?

Paul,

Thanks for the info re the mp3 ringtones. What about shortcuts can you actually create new ones? either on the 'phone' desktop (like orange has factory fitted) or on the joystick e.g. push left to create a text message?

I'm thinking of buying over the net at onestopphoneshop.co.uk - I got the orange k700 from them - v.good service and they are now stocking the t-mobile version, I need to decide tomorrow whether to go t-mobile or not?

Thanks

Dan

Hi paul, strange that with the icons, i got mine from T-mobile direct. You cant change the colour on the softkey which is a shame. Appart from that i have no other issues with the phone.

Have anyone who has a t-mobile branded k700 got any problems with the alarm on it?
None of the t-mobile branded k700's we have in the shop (including mine) work with the alarm. The screen flashes when the alarm goes off, but there is no sound.

Can anyone else confirm or deny this?

I can confirm that the alarm function does not work correctly on my t-mobile k700.

A word of warning don't do a master reset, i did in the hope of getting rid of all the crap on my phone, instead it replaced my internet services icon with a t-mobile jukebox icon and introduced links to t-zones in the pictures, sounds, and video directories in file manager. So now im stuck with even more shite than previously, its a nightmare. It wouldnt be so bad if the t-mobile colour scheme wasnt pink, it completely messes up any themes.

Is there any other way to access internet services menu???

hi sorry about the blank posting pretty new to this myself.anyway i also found that the alarm on my k700 also didnt work apart from the flashing...but then decided to try a different alarm single. the baby one seems to work fine but got in touch with the t mobile operator who told me i could have the handset replaced if i wished so.thats if its within 28 day of purchase....but then again whats the point if its a common fault?

Got my T630 today, and was very disappointed with the irremovable softkey button, especially as it's from t-mobile, and I'm on the vodaphone network, I was tempted to take it into vodaphone to see if they could flash it or change the firmware, but they will probably just replace it with vodaphone branding, heh.
