I think (from further research) the problem actually is the result of the phone not realising that the .jar are actually games. They are therefore moved to the 'other' file on the phone. If you can move the .jar file to the games file, they will possibly work.
BUT this is easier said than done. I am still hunting for software to allow me to move items to the game file.
I understand that many people have found it easier to get the games on via bluetooth, as it recognises them, but I am unable to comment on this, as only use a cable connection, and have not been able to move the games to the correct folder yet!
