Don't foget to make outbox as smtp.t-email.co.uk

Because if u use you own outbox u will find that you can only send emails to yourself.

Some outgoing mail servers only work if you are connected through thier dialup. This stops freeloaders overloading thier mail servers. But when you send email through your phone, you connect to the server through your phone operators dialup.

For example, If I setup a new email account with Freeserve, it would be a bit cheeky to use thier mail servers if I connected to the internet through BTOpenworld, or T.Mobile WAP/GPRS all the time. Why yould Freeserve offer me this for free?

Just because you send your outgoing mail through the T.mobile server doesn't mean it goes out with a T.mobile address on it. You specify whatever reply email address you like. All your emails go out FROM this address, whatever server they are sent from.

I'd recommend using your usual SMTP server, unless you cannot get it to work, then use your phone operators SMTP server or another SMTP account you have that works.

Good luck
