@vegetable -your 1st problemo is quite normal, specially when you have the fone turned-on when charging . . . The 2nd one . . . I quite don't know, 'cause I haven't tried that myself mate. Good luck!

I dont know why, but everytime my T610 froze up in the past putting it on charge for a few minutes seemed to bring it out of its coma.
It must be something to do with the phone recognising when its on charge even if the phones interface has crashed, which prompts it to reboot its interface allowing you access to the phone again. Probably.
Ive not had such a problem with my K700 yet though, touch wood.

My z600 had af problem recently where the whole keypad froze, pulling the battery didn't help... left it for 15 minutes, and it was fine, next time it happened i tried a 1-2-3 key combination, which helped, and phone was fine, next few times it happened the "press 1 press 2 press 3" solved it...
Here's the real spook, all of these incidents were a result of nokia users writing text messages, i cannot provoke this error myself, but with a nokia user, it shows up almost instantly...
Thats very strange if you ask me...
any one else with the same?

try to do master reset maybe it fix your problem because i read in another forum about the same pro and some1 said he did master reset and his pro was solved....keep in mind that you will lose all data even the remote control and you should install it again .

resetting also means that once again you will have to send all your info via BT wouldn't it, and if so wouldn't that cause more problems?? i had the same problem w/mine when i was transferring pictures but i haven't done so anymore

Update. I'm with Singlepoint and they are still out of stock of K700i's, so I still have my crappy one!!
My phone has been just as unreliable as it was before my last post on this thread. For the whole weekend it was crashing a split second after it got to the main screen (bit where u see your background/wallpaper). But for some reason now, it has decided to work again, but still there are delays when buttons are pressed and I am convinced it will crash again soon and revert back to it's unusable state. Such is the irrational nature of the issue, I still haven't been able to work exactly out what solves it, but I think it's something to do with charging the battery or letting it run flat. Either that or just keep turning it on and off a hundred times until it starts working again!!
I'm not going to try master reset as suggested because it involves using bluetooth to save and restore the data on the phone and I believe that is the initial cause of the crashing. Hopefully the new stock of handsets will have a more recent version of the software!!
