It still is a problem, why do you think computers still use screensavers ?

I recently saw a CRT monitor (well, in 2001) at college with a ghost image burnt onto the screen. The monitor wasnt old either, only about 2 years old.

But CRT displays and LCD displays are built on very different techniques and technologies.

Does LCD displays really suffer from the same disadvantage as CRT displays in this matter?

Yes and no.
LCD screens still suffer from "burning" effects.
But, contrary to CRT screens, it disappears when the LCD is switched off for a sufficient amount of time.

I've seen this 'digital/analog clock' screensaver in almost all of my colored Nokia fones I just would like to ask here how to activate this thing as my screensaver in my SE K700i fone, the screensaver I am using now is the 'domino effect' thing (quite realistically done) ! Many thanks in advance mates!
