Yes the blue stuff disappears when you turn the preferable service to GSM. But when you connect thru GPRS again it reappears.

Aint that a triangle? Not a square? It means gprs is within range and can be used, globe means a gprs session is in progress.

Yes that's a upside-down triangle. Though to save battery, you can, NOT keep it always on also.

The bar is there if you are using gprs or not, unless you mean you can make it go away by disabling gprs?
