But if its only the battery, why no faulty at other movements too? At picking up the fone, put and take here and there etc This message was posted from a T630

I do wonder if it is a problem somewhere around the battery connectors, as the OP said it only happened in his pocket - when the phone is probably under pressure - in a fairly tight pocket, or jangling loose if it's in a large pocket (like in combat trousers).

I would guess if it's a software problem, then it would be turning off randomly, including on tables, etc.

So it happens only at small hits to the leg? Could be. This message was posted from a T630

Thank you again you all for thinking with me!

@Sammy_boy: I will try the short term solution you suggested. I also think it's something with the battery loosing contact.
But again: when I try to "reproduce" the switching off, by fondling with the battery cover with my hands, the problem does not occur...

Don't you think putting paper on the back of the battery is a little bit risky because of the heat.....??? (Would be a nice view: smoke coming out of my phone.....

You should be OK - I've put paper between the battery and battery cover before with no problems! The only thing perhaps to watch is how warm that area gets during charging - although I've notice with my T610 theres very little heat generated during a charge.

I had similiar problem on my phone but not only in pocket. It turned off then it could stay off or turn on and work ok or turn on and say: no sim card! That's the problem- sim. I changed it to new phone then. Now all is ok. This message was posted from a T630
