any luck with this unknown sender problem guys?
even i seem to get this !! and also i cant reply to any mms received..

talked to SE's service center over here the other day.. they said the new firmware (R2AA if I'm not mistaken) fixes this problem.. the update service doesn't seem to update my phone.. it's still R2L.. I guess I'll drop by SE's service center soon..

yes dudes i too am having the same problem 'unknown sender' for my mms messages only i am from india , sms messages show the name or number perfectly fine when i recieve an sms. i am usuing R2A version firmware any help guys let me know too.. its a real pain in the A..e as people can misuse this facility by sending illict stuff to k700i users, as sometimes the mobile is just lying around in the house and any one can read the mms containg any Sh.t. soo someone pleeease help when the solution is found...

Hi guys,
I had the same problem and i updated the firmware to R2AA003 and now i get the number of the person who is sending me the MMS. So even if the number is stored in my phone book i only get the number not the name, but much better than getting unknown sender.
BTW, when i updated to R2AA i got another bug which was not there before, when i get a missed call the phone unlocks itself even with auto lock activated.

lol thats a real freeze .. u get one thing fixed and the other problem freezes you .. really dont know wht to do shuld i or not upgrade or update my software ? Hello SE R U Listning do something gud make all us guys here happy by calling the phones back and upgrading it for free with the S700

R2AA fixed this problem now for me.. they said that this particular update will delete all user data, which it did.. previous updates I've done at SE's service center didn't delete anything on my phone.. anyway.. the phone is updated and this problem is fixed..

same thing with me about number in the phone book not showing as names in incoming MMS.. don't know about the missed call thing..
