I have a few more questions on this subject.

To my knowledge their are "preset" icons on everyphone (the main ones like "Happy", "Sad", etc) which can't be changed. Can all phones accept modified icons (user created) EMS icons?

I am also assuming phones can't download new EMS icons via wap because the phone wont have knowledge of where to store these?

Is it possible to have color animated EMS content? On the P900 i can select a host of small color animated icons (which i think are GIF) will these icons only be assigned at recepient side via the phone itself or can they be "sent" along with the message?

Are their any tools available to produce EMS content?

Ems content involves a no of things. Yes it is possible to dl those small monochrome pictures. Also small imy tones which are attachbble to the message This message was posted from a T610

you can also send downloaded b/w images in EMS... on my Z600 those aree stored in my 'images' folder but on P models I have no clue.

Coloured animations in .gif format cannot be sent in EMS (text message) but can be sent in MMS (multi media message)

Maybe he's refering to those monochrome animations which you can add in a text. But sorry ems can't handle colour :-D This message was posted from a T610
