The colours of the Z600 look more washed-out than the K700i's. I sent the ice crack, retro choir, peacock feathers and water ripples pictures from my K700i to my friends Z600. I also sent them to my old T610.
On the T610, they looked drab, washed out and low resolution. On the Z600, they looked low resolution but slightly brighter and better colours.
But, on the K700i they look sharper (obviously) but also much more colourful. I know all 3 phones have 65k screens, but imho the K700i wins hands down in colour depth display and resolution.
Oh yeah, and the K700i screen works great in sunlight, except i keep reflecting the sun off the mirror frame of the screen and end up blinding myself !

IMHO, it's true that K700 shows more colors than Z600. Yes, it is. It's also true that K700 shows sharper images. Yes, it really is. K700 shows softer and better colors gradation and more. But, the colors is a bit pale if you compare it with Z600. Just a bit, but it's still pale. It's darker and less contrast. Z600 backlit is a little brighter than K700. Compare it when the phone using a same image/wallpaper, then try to face both of your phones screen to the wall in the dark one followed by another. You will see that Z600 delivers brighter light than K700.
However, I must say again (I've already said it 3 times), K700 wins all the way because the only advantage of Z600 is its brighter and more contrast screen, which are not really significant.
About TFT and TFD, besides comparison in SE phones, you can also compare this two main platform in Samsung phones. TFD screen equipped phones from Samsung (D410, V200, P510) have brighter screens than its TFT screen phones (E700, E100, E600).

I don't really think it can. Although they have the same screen resolution, Z600 screen physical size is larger than one used in T610.
