I've got the opposite problem. My Globe icon always disappears!

It seems with my K700, I cant keep the GPRS session active. After I exit the wap browser and then click the back key, the o/s asks to "Close Connections?" and by the time I've clicked "No" the darn thing has disappeared!

I have been able to 'trick' it once, and have my GPRS session activated all day, but I cant seem to do it again.

This is important, as the crappy Telcos in Australia charge 22c flagfall when starting a GPRS session. Doesn't sound like much, but just the flagfall cost me $40 last month!!! ;(

Any ideas!?!?!?

Leksenfan, I've done that already. Globe's still there. I've turned it off then on so it's temporarily gone..

@alfaromeo777 - My goodness gracious Even the R2L . . . firmware upgrade still has it's 'cons' . . . Try 'downgrading' the firmware again to the 'stock/old' - R2A . . . if the problem still persist then just try pretend that the 'globe' just represents that you are still in planet Earth, when you go to Mars, the 'blue' globe will automatically' just turn to 'red' . . . ! Kidding aside mate 1
