I couldn't agree more about putting on a screen protector. But frankly, I bought a screen protector after four months of use, and even in sunlight, my screen looks looked like new after those four months. I think its got to do with (i) using handwriting recognition instead of virtual keyboard and (ii) ones writing style. I use a light touch, so mine didn't get scratched. However, a screen protector is good protection, and they aren't expensive. The new ones are really clear too.

The screen of the P900 is very soft compared to regular PDA screens.
When you use it you can see it flex. It might be ok if you only tap or use a screen protector, but on that model I would use a screen protector if you use handwriting recognition.

I agree. Screen protectors are best. I bought mine from Nushield (http://www.nushield.net/products.htm). Another good place I found was Brando (http://shop.brando.com.hk/ultraclearscreenprotector.php).

Any other good sites out there offering good and inexpensive protectors? Anyone?

I also use a very light touch, if i are more careful the screen will not respond...

Thank you all for your answers, i'm waiting for my P900 to return with a new screen and i've also ordered a twin pack of Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector. They are not cheap but i hope that they are one of the best.
