K700 plays .mp4 or .3gp containers - using mpeg4 videocodec or H.263 videocodec - and either AMR-NB lowquality or AAC highquality audiocodec. Max resolution of videos are 176x144 and max combined bitrate is 160kBit/s. Framerate should be 15fps - 16.5fps for smooth playback.

Other encoders like pv-author, quicktime, etc. may also be used to create videos but the same rules about resolution, bitrates and video/audiocodecs apply. If you do not follow these rules videos will not play on the phone.
You also cannot play files like .mpeg .mpg. .avi etc. these are designed to play on computers or dvd-players. Not on phones.
